The document confirms the joint commitment of all three institutions to continue close cooperation in the next three years.

"The Thalia Awards are an important part of our cultural tradition. I am convinced that the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, the Actors' Association and the National Theatre will contribute to the dignified conduct of all upcoming years and to the further development of artistic life in the Czech Republic," said Minister Baxa.

The memorandum builds on previous successful cooperation in 2020–2025, when three memoranda covering the 27th–32nd year of the prestigious award were implemented without complications. The Thalia Awards are among the most important and most media-watched awards for performing artists in the Czech Republic, which is why the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, the Actors' Association and the National Theatre in their organization is crucial.

"The Thalia Awards are an exceptional evening of meetings between actresses and actors, singers and dancers from all over the country. It is a celebration of theatre, during which we congratulate the entire Czech theatre on its consistently high artistic quality through awards for extraordinary performances of the season," said Jan Burian, general director of the National Theatre.

"I am very pleased that the Thalia Awards are gaining the status of a prestigious theatre award. I am very glad that my predecessors invented Thalia and I was able to follow on from them. Theatre and theatre people have always played a significant role in our countries historically, theatre has often stood at historical crossroads – that is why I am glad that theatre people have their own significant award. I thank the National Theatre and the Ministry of Culture for supporting Thalia," said Ondřej Kepka, president of the Actors' Association
