Petr Štědroň will be the new director of the Brno National Theatre

The Brno City Council has appointed Petr Štědroň as the new director of the National Theatre Brno. He will take up the position on 1 August 2028, replacing the current director Martin Glaser, who will move to head the National Theatre in Prague. Štědroň will return to the Moravian metropolis after years spent managing the Na zábradlí Theatre. The key positions of artistic directors will be filled by Dora Štědroňová (drama), Daria Klimentová (ballet), together with Jakub Klecker (music director of the opera) and Aleš Kučírek (administrative director of the opera).
