Contract Register Training

A training session on the issue of the Register of Contracts was held in the attic rehearsal room of the National Theatre's Drama Theatre. The meeting was intended for theatre workers from all over the Czech Republic who deal with contractual agendas and administration of public institutions in their practice. The lecturer was Martin Kraus, who introduced the participants to the current legislative framework, obligations arising from the Act on the Register of Contracts, and practical experience with its application in everyday theatre operations.

The training offered a space for sharing experiences, unifying the interpretation of controversial situations and exchanging good practices between member theatres. Regional and city theatres across the country will be presented in the new television series Theatre Spring 2026 this spring. Czech Television, in cooperation with the Association of Professional Theatres of the Czech Republic, will offer a series of three-minute portraits that will capture the current form of 30 professional scenes.
