Open letter to the budget of the Ministry of Culture
The Council of the Czech ITI Center - the umbrella platform for Czech performing arts - addressed the Minister of Culture with an open letter regarding the current budget situation of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

Budget cuts and the extended budget interim period bring uncertainty to the cultural sector, which fundamentally complicates the planning and implementation of projects in 2026. The letter therefore calls for the accelerated completion of grant procedures, the release of funds to successful applicants and the fulfillment of publicly declared commitments to living culture. Culture needs stability, predictability and clear conditions. Without them, the entire ecosystem – from institutions to individual creators – is exposed to unnecessary risk.
